11/21/2009 AFA09: Day 00 What a busy sweaty day... ^_~ Woke up quite early this morning to do the final preparations to leave my island... Reached the local air strip and had a light healthy meal there... I had Chibily guarding my breakkie while I munch away before entering the zone of no return: boarding terminal... ^_^  At the terminal on which I'll be boarding the winged machine... Nope, the one I'll be riding is 3 times the speed and clad in bright red marks... XD  Inside the cabin before taking off... Bye bye my island!  My plane is piercing the heaven~!  Hello, land of the Merlion~!  A llllllllllllllooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggg Q just to get outta the landing zone... ^^;  Heading directly towards rendezvous point to meet with comrade zh3us, Dcal, zenical and others for today's main dish: viewing of EVA 2.0... Chibily stepped onto the MRT that will bring us around town...  We are to meet directly at the site of AFA09, collecting our tickets and holding the bay for some time waiting for other comrades like ederuferuto and others...  Blame my shaky hands... ^^; That's comrade zh3us BTW... Incidentally, while we were talking about the boss of GSC, Aki-san
emerged from the hall... That's when comrade zh3us points towards him and goes
"speakin' of the devil"... Parallel to each other's movement,
our eyes zoomed onto the point of interest and we just go wow~! Had a slight conversation with the man himself... Just wow... ^_~ No piccies of the man were taken due to the aftershock of the lucky meeting... ^^;  Later we went for a stroll around town, eventually settled down for a meal... Comrade zh3us trying to get a hit on my Meido Lacus while I borrowed the Pucchis from comrade ederuferuto for several quick shots... X3  The cat is in her hands... ^_^;  Churuya wonders when did she had these armours on...  Rin looks surprisingly good in Chibily's armours...  Kokonoe Saber decides to join in...  Figma Aigis isn't the only one that can do a roketto panchi... ^_^;  Neko bullying is a stable staple of us FigNendo lovers... :P  The nite ends with the viewing of EVA 2.0 which I can describe in 3 letters... WTF!!!??? Also Meido Lacus enjoyed the spotlight when several comrades took out their DSLRs for a session when we have our supper before heading home... Why am I still awake here? Gotta recharge for tomorrow's big day~! 11/19/2009 This is IT~!And the time is now! In just a nite's Biri-biri counting, I'll finally head towards the airfield hitchhiking a plane towards the land of the Merlion...^_~ Just completed my task of allocating stuffs for the trip. I'm keeping my stuffs a minimum as I know I'll be bringing back more things than what I carry over... ^^; The main theme of my trip this time is Darkness, therefore all my belongings are all in black... 0_0  So what are these belts you wonder? :3 And why am I bringing the helm of the Dark Lord? :P Here's why... This would be my getup for AFA09 day 1, wearing full suit of blacks with the helm as shoulder armour... ^_^   Please

and plus a camera bag (See below)... As mentioned in earlier post I'll be bringing my daughter and Chibily along for photo shooting sessions with other comrades... This would be the transport...   Of
course I'll bring along some entertainments to ease my waiting at the
airfield... ^_~ Meido Lacus seems to be listening to May'n's Pink
Monsoon rite now... :D Meido Lacus will be safe inside here... Chibily had to be mutilated to fit into the Nendo Transport tho... X3  I'm stocking some emergency rations as well in case of sudden craving for brainssss... >,< The rations are 3 varieties of local Pocky variant, choco cubes and a nutrition bar... :P Waiddaminute... Meishi!? Yes, I did a hasty job on these yesterday and printed them out just this morning using my office's machine... @_@ Will exchange them for Danny's and Gordon's trading card... :D
 Waku waku indeed... :3 To all comrades who'll be meeting me, see ya all soon tomorrow! FigNendo Wars (Sisterly Love series) will have a break this week as well... On side note: I'm aware that many comrades are having difficulties trying to comment on my buroggu due to Live's compulsary member login system in order to comment... Therefore I've implemented cbox onto the sidebar under the Public Relations category... Chat away! ^_^ 11/15/2009 Sisterly Love... +This actually happened the night before the day of my decision on bringing Meido Lacus to AFA09... ^^; As always, unedited panels here if you're interested... :3 Ki-taaaaa~! Galaxy Cinderella~! Finally~! I've been waiting for this like... forever!!! Shown during the recent Megahobby Expo 2009 Autumn, these couple of 1/6 Action Figure Collections, undoubtedly by Megahouse, will be available for preorder exclusively on Hobby Japan magazine...  Being limited items, I guess many online stores will not be able to stock on these two beauties (Amiami... T_T)...  I wonder if Otacute will have them as they tend to have those limited items for us international buyers...? :3
 Looks like she'll be in her 25cm Obitsu body type just like Fluffy Horo... :) I've been eyeing on her stage dress for quite a while now... >:3
Motteke~! Galaxy Fairy Sheryl Nome Stage version...  Will be in her 27cm Obitsu body type similar to Meido Lacus... ^_~ LOL Her hat looks as if it's floating, unfit onto her head...

May have to cancel some of my previous preorders if I can get Ranka! :D 11/13/2009 Towards the AFA!Less than a week left until the big trip to Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre! W00t! Next Friday, I'll be boarding a flight towards the land of the Merlion in order to attend the much anticipated Anime Festival Asia 2009 (AFA09), one of the most successful Otaku related event of the region... :D AFA actually starts the day after, but I'm going in a day earlier to grab the pre-reg ticket and to meet up several comrades for a view of Evangelion 2.0 movie that night... :3 Accompanying me will be my 1st daughter, donning her own Meido fuku for this special occasion... Originally I intend to have her taking piccies along with the Meido-san tachi from the Kyun Cafe which will be operable during the event, but recent announcement of regulations and guidelines on utilising the facility crushes my intention... 0_o Oh well... ^_~  Moe, Moe, Kyuuuu~n! <3 Fluffy 2nd daughter had to be left out from consideration due to the hassle of grooming her hair and shippo if I'm to bring her to foreign lands... Poor musume... :(  Chibily will be coming as well... :D  Aww... She's getting tsun tsun with Meido Lacus... XD Lacus really does look best in this outfit... <3 It's a tough choice to choose between her and the 3rd twin-tail musume, but eventually her ponytail got the best of me... ^^;  Yellow biri-biri mouse glomping mode~! :3 See you at the site, fellow comrades!  Kira~n! Looks like my wallet's gonna burn hot this month... ^^;
